Fighters from across Wales joined forces to travel to Spain for the 2009 World Karate & Kickboxing Championships returning with 11 Gold Medals, 14 Silver and 24 Bronze.
The competition saw 1500 entries from 30 countries and the standard was top quality. Team Wales brought home medals in Full Contact, Traditional Karate Kumite, Points Fighting and Continuous Fighting.
